Our family visited Bermuda for a destination wedding and used the opportunity for a family vacation. âTo say the home and views are stunning donât do it justice.â From the time Kim (owner) met us at the home to greet us, to waking up every day to the incredible view of the ocean, to going to bed every night to the sound of waves crashing, to the incredible comfort and beauty of the house, a person could not have asked for anything more. The home comfortably sleeps (8), each with own big bedroom and individual bath. Plenty of room to spread out if weather gets inclement and very well maintained. Easy access to beautiful Horseshoe Bay and many other activities - a perfect location. Highly recommend this property for a family vacation, couples trip or any mixture of friends. It truly made our stay on Bermuda a memorable experience.

We introduced 114 of our best friends and family to Bermuda last week as we celebrated our son's wedding. My husband and I traveled to the island 37 years ago on our honeymoon trip. Southern Views is on the grounds of the Fairmont resort where we stayed at that time. The house is spectacular, Kim and Michael are the perfect hosts, the views of Horseshoe Bay beach are stunning. The location is perfect for dining at the resort restaurants and securing a cab or a shuttle to the beach. We loved every minute of our stay and the newlyweds are on Cloud 9!!,

Location and layout of the home is perfect for a large family gathering or a group of friends wanting to connect and spend time together, yet have private alone space. Each bedroom is comfortable and equipped with a private bath. The pool was wonderful and the patio was used by all every morning for coffee and every dinner. The kitchen is large enough to cook for eight +.
Kim and Michael's hospitality was spot on. They made us feel welcome in their home, attentive to our needs while giving us ample privacy.
To improve on perfect, suggest to improve wifi speed and better stock the kitchen cooking utensils. Other than that, this is a PERFECT spot to get away and enjoy Bermuda.

Southern Views was all it promised to be! The views from the lanai overlooking Horse Shoe Beach were amazing with ever changing hues of water and the pink sand. Getting to the beach was easy using the hotel shuttle. One day the driver actually turned up the driveway and dropped us off at the door! The house was spacious...there was so much room in the kitchen that 6 adults and 3 children never bumped into each other when preparing meals. Grocery shopping was nearby and the cab drivers were willing to wait while we did our shopping. Groceries were expensive, though. We had prearranged grocery delivery, including liquor, for our arrival, so that made settling in less hectic. We did not meet Kim, who was on a cruise, but her daughters were wonderful substitute hostesses. There was so much to do on Bermuda, and we were busy, but I think the beach and views from the lanai were our favorites. We took our family to Bermuda to celebrate our 50th anniversary, and it was worth it.

My family and I just returned from our vacation at Southern Views and we are ready to go back! The house has everything you need and more!! We ended up cooking a lot as the grocery store is a short ride away and cabs are easily accessible from the hotel front door. My kids loved splashing in the pool and We watched the sunsets from the huge porch. The house is large and has a setup that makes it feel open and private at the same time. Kim and Michael answered every question we had and were always available. Bermuda is such a special place, staying at Southern Views only made it more special. Thanks again Kim and Michael!!!

This home is a perfect spot for a family or group of friends looking for gorgeous views, beautiful beaches and excellent service from the owners. We were a group of eight adults and two small children and we loved every minute of our time at Southern Views. Kim was an absolute pleasure to work with; any small issue we had was resolved quickly and she was available to answer questions any time. We were on the go all week: we did a reef fishing trip on the Ellen B, golfed at Port Royal, Mid Ocean and Turtle Hills, toured the island on the Restless Native catamaran, dined out at many wonderful restaurants, had Food for Thought cater an awesome meal in the house, hiked the sand trails along the beaches by Horseshoe Bay, and spent hours enjoying the pool and fabulous deck of Southern Views. It was a perfect week!

We rented the house for my husband's surprise 60th birthday and it was fabulous! The house had a fully equipped kitchen, covered porch, awesome views, a wonderful pool, and so much more. We cooked almost every dinner on the grill and listened to the water at night. It was a perfect house for 3 couples and the 4th bedroom in the basement was good for young adults/teenagers. We would rent it again in a heartbeat and the owner Kim was welcoming and helpful in many ways.

Our group celebrated our 70th birthdays at Southern Views, and what a wonderful time we had! The house was more than advertised--the view, the accommodations, and the location were exceptional. Michael met us upon arrival and even drove 2 of us to the Swizzle Inn for lunch. Kim recommended a driver who we used every day while there. We ate in most nights and found the kitchen more that adequate for our needs. It was a magical stay in a magical place! We are all ready to make it an annual event!

Our family of 8 people (6 adults and 2 kids) has the chance to rent this beautiful and huge villa in Southampton for a whole week. The weather was not very good for us, however we enjoyed the view, the beaches and all the commodities the villa has to offer.
Kim was there to welcome us, she was very helpful and nice with us.
If we come back to Bermuda, we will obviously consider to return to this place!

We stayed at Southern Views for Christmas 2016, it was fantastic! We had a large group so some people stayed in the Fairmont Hotel and some stayed at the house. The house is spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. We were able to cook Christmas dinner and other holiday meals and all the necessary equipment was there ready to be used.
I have rented houses from VRBO multiple times in the past, I can say without a doubt Kim is the best owner I have ever dealt with. She is terrific! She makes you feel at home and is extremely accommodating. She even decorated the house for us for Christmas with a tree and other decorations!

When we walked into the home we were so pleasantly surprised. It was as it looked in the pictures! The view from the wrap around deck was such a beautiful view. There were times when we were more than content to just sit there and take in the view which was beautiful, calming and peaceful. The house offered all the accommodation we needed....sufficient size bedrooms, showers, sitting areas, kitchen well stocked. The location on the Fairmont grounds provided us easy access to wherever we wanted to go. We ventured to the Blue Hole area. Spent a fun afternoon watching members of our group dive from the cliff. We enjoyed a swim in the Grotto Bay Cove. We had a late lunch at the Swizzle inn, and then some ice cream at Bailey's ice cream parlor.....all within walking distance of each other. Our first night there, we had dinner at Bacci's. We took the path earlier that day to see the restaurant and to make reservations. What a fun walk. The restaurant was excellent...good food, good service. One day we decided to rent a whaler, and although six on a whaler is a little much, that was all we could do as that was the only boat left available. Now that was an experience. Some of our group snorkeled, some just swam around. We stopped at a dockside restaurant and bought sandwiches and drink and went to a little island to enjoy. That proved to be a fun day as well. One evening we went to the Waterlot. Great experience.....elegant. Excellent food, excellent service, unbelievable bill! All worth it. Our last day there we rented two seat scooters and yes, the oldest member of our group (80) went right along on the back seat of the scooter. We headed to Hamilton, shopped, saw all the sights along the way, stopped at the Elbow Beach Resort to see a restaurant called Mickey's which was on the beach. Not impressed so we headed home to make our last dinner at our own house and enjoy the deck. Turned out to be a great night. We seemed to be so busy trying to get the sights in of Bermuda, that when we left we felt that we didn't spend enough time enjoying the things right at out finger tips....the beach, the pool. Our memories of Southern View will be with us for a long time to come. The trip was to celebrate the 50th birthday of the youngest in the group, and celebrate we did. Thank you Kim and Southern View for making it all happen.

Southern Views was gorgeous as advertised. We visited with 3 couples and found the house to be spacious and very much as advertised. It is equipped with everything we could have needed for a relaxing vacation. The setting was so lovely that we opted to cook and eat in rather than going to nearby restaurants. The house is on the property of the Fairmont Hotel so tennis, golf, moped rental and gorgeous beach all very convenient. Kim
and Michael, our hosts made us very welcome and were available with any questions or suggestions.

We were lucky enough to stay at Southern Views for a week in August - my husband and I, and 5 youngsters ranging in age from 12 to 22 years. We found the house to be perfect for our stay, outstanding views of Horseshoe Bay from the very large terrace and ample living area indoors for us all to relax and all have our own space. The house is well located for various beaches, as well as a good selection of restaurants. Kim was incredibly welcoming and always on hand to answer any questions that we had. Thank you Kim for such a memorable holiday and very much hope to return again one day.

Great big and extremely well designed/built beautiful home that's very comfortably furnished and has an enormous terrace overlooking Horseshoe Bay with amazing ocean views extending almost 180 degrees. Horseshoe Bay beach is within walking/short shuttle ride distance, and you can very distinctly hear the waves crashing from the balcony all day and night. Tremendous kitchen with great appliances and cook-ware and fantastic bbq on terrace. We bbq'd 4 nights and went out to dinner 4 nights. Grocery market with wine, beer and liquor is fairly closeby. Hamilton and Elbow beach restaurants are relatively close. Huge master bedroom suite with walk-in closet and double sink bathroom with separate tub and shower. Three additional good sized bedrooms and two BR's have their own bathrooms plus a bathroom with shower and a half bathroom. Ping Pong table was a big hit as was the pool. The owners were staying in a smaller unit below the main house area where we stayed and they were incredibly wonderful and helpful. We will stay there again.

Just got back from 7 amazing days at Southern Views with friends and family. Kim was a wonderful host and ensured that we settled in and knew how everything worked. The house was absolutely amazing with some of the best views in Bermuda. Spacious, with all the appliances we needed, with an enormous porch from which to watch the sunrise or beach revelers while BBQâing and relaxing. A lovely garden and swimming pool to cool off in the evenings as well. I would highly recommend Southern Views for anyone seeking a relaxing independent vacation in one of the most beautiful spots in the world.

My family and I were looking for a place to spend time together, that was spacious, great location, and warm & inviting. Needles to say Bermuda is by itself a beautiful destination.
Well, we found it all in this beautiful, modern, very spaciously laid out home just below the Fairmont Southampton.
There were 10 of us; my wife, sister, daughter, son, his wife and 6mo old, 2nd son, his wife, and 2 1/2 year old.
When we entered the house, everyone was pleasantly impressed, and the outside veranda with its view overlooking Horseshoe Bay was incredible.
We were met by Kim Burns, one of the owners, who couldn't have been more gracious and welcoming. She took us on a tour of the house and couldn't do enough to make us feel comfortable.
Kim's husband Michael even stuffed my wife and three others into his car and took them on a short tour before dropping them off at the snorkeling spot.
Having been to Bermuda several times before, the location couldn't be more centralized with easy driving to both Hamilton in the east and the Dockyard in the west.
We had a fabulous time and will no doubt return very soon.
This is a can't miss experience!!!

Loved the location; the beach, sightseeing, tourist events and shopping were all close. The setting was blissful to hear the ocean crashing at night. The house was large enough to accommodate a family reunion, and intimate enough to have music, conversation and listen to the ocean. The owners were warm and friendly, and helped us quickly if we had questions. We have been to Bermuda many times, and this was, by far, the best. We so hope to return soon!

Southern Views is located centrally located with beautiful full views of Horseshoe Bay. It's many large rooms can accommodate a large crowd. The house has everything you will need, and it's a short walk restaurants, golf, and the beach. Southern Views looks nice in photographs yet it's much better in person. The owner ensured that everything was perfect and was very responsive. It will be on the top of the list for our next visit to Bermuda.

Southern Views was the perfect location for our family birthday celebration. We were 3 adult couples who were able to spend time together in the spacious rooms and outdoors on the terrace, yet had plenty of privacy when we wanted it. The views from the terrace are among the best on the island and the porch is wide enough that we could enjoy the views even in the rain.
Being this close to the Southampton Fairmont was a win-win situation for us. We could avail ourselves of the shuttles, taxis, and restaurants that the hotel provided and then retreat to our private paradise just a few minutes away.
Kim was a gracious host who was willing to answer every question and made us feel like this was our home. It was truly an unforgettable experience and I would highly recommend Southern Views to any group coming to Bermuda!

My wife and I have rented homes in numerous places. Southern Views has the best views we have even witnessed. It is perfect for a family as the pool is down below the main porch so one does not have to worry about little kids slipping off. The beach is an easy walk and the shuttle can bring you back up the hill. I would highly recommend this property to anyone thinking of going to Bermuda.

We rented Southern views for a week for a celebration of my dad's 80th birthday. The house was beyond our wildest dreams!!!! The pictures truly cannot do this place justice - when we walked in we were jumping for joy and truly speechless. The house has every amenity (wifi, TV, BBQ) - truly luxurious accommodations, with a breathtaking view that no photo could ever capture. We made so many memories sitting all together on the MASSIVE porch enjoying the view. The house is in a prime location - situated just above Horseshoe Bay on the grounds of the Fairmont so you get every amenity and convenience without the feel of a resort. Shuttle to beach, tennis, spa, etc. We truly feel we had the best house on the entire island! Kim was a perfect and gracious host who went out of her way to provide us with help and support throughout our stay. Do not look any further for your vacation rental - this is truly paradise found and we never ever would have left if given the option. We are reluctant to give TOO high praise as we want to make sure it is available for our next trip here!!!! ;) Thank you for a vacation we will never forget.

At dinner on our last night in Bermuda my extended family of 8 went around the table reviewing highlights of our trip and every one of us said, "the house." The pictures don't do it justice. We had perfect views of Horseshoe Bay (arguably the best beach on the island). On a two hour walk along the beach we were able to keep the beautiful yellow house in sight. The house itself is spacious and comfortable with everything you need for a good beach vacation (chairs, towels, snorkel gear to borrow). The wrap around porch, grill and pool were the icing on the cake. We would definitely return and have already recommended the place to friends. Kim is terrific and her personal touches (a bottle of Bermudian rum to greet us upon arrival) also made for a magical vacation.

We rented Southern Views for a week, in April 16, 10 of us ! Mainly adults but also 2 kids with us. The villa is just wonderful. The location is perfect for a relaxing holidays in Bermuda. Located above one of the most beautiful beach in the world, you are 20 min away by bus from Hamilton city. The house has all possible amenities you can think of, the landlords are just so kind and flexible...The beds are high quality, the kitchen is well equipped, the outdoor barbecue very handy ... all perfectly clean and nicely decorated. The villa is full of light and breezy (nice when the weather get seriously hot), with no noise whatsoever :-).
In addition to the beach, you can benefit, against small charges, of the tennis, spa, restaurants from the Fairmont Princess Southampton resort, on which the villa is located.
We had a amazing time, we felt we found Paradise on earth ! and if we could, we would have never left !
